How women are presented in rap videos.

In rap videos women are presented as no body's for example 50 cent has various videos with hip hop honeys in such as ain't gonna lie and put your hands up these videos both include a large amount of hip hop honeys and a main woman that is controlled by the male singer.for the past week we have been looking at a documentary which shows you how women/girls are treated and how they act towards being the best hip hop honey. Women in the video have shown themselves to be weak and have to change their bodies to look good instead of being happy for who you are, money in this business is very low and some of these women will not earn it back within the time they work for.

Photoshop's clone stamp tool allows you to duplicate part of an image.

Evaluation

My final image looks like a sports logo for ravens wood school, I am happy with my final design as I have altered my work in several ways. Researching the lasso tool and the magic wand has helped me through my editing of my rws logo, I chose the colours black, white and green as they are the traditional colours for rws. Mr southworth also helped me with altering my font for it to be able to curve around my football and look smart. I think that my overall finished design turned out well and is very eye catching.

For my design to look even better I could have taken more time to add more photos, text and bright colours so that my logo gives more impact. I think that I need more practice in my own time to be a photoshop master.

Hip Hop Homework

i do not agree with the statement of "hip hop presents a very rigid and narrow version of manhood"
because women also like hip hop and are not dominant over men or any other women.
Also there are people men and women that like hip hop for what it is and the music it creates not how manly or dominant you are.

in the text it also says that "you must have a lot of women and money" that also is wrong because a lot of people in the hood and gangs live in poor areas and do not have money. it also says if you do not live up to these rules you will be ridiculed 50 cent is a good example as he grew up in the hood and did not have a lot of money but as he has grown his hip hop skills have improved and he has come into some wealth and he has not been ridiculed  for what he grew up like and how he is now.

the definition of manhood in hip hop is a trap for men, boxing them into a restricted, unhealthy style of manhood and masculinity. 
If you did not get up to the gang or followers of hip hop you will be called names like, soft, weak and wimp.

the two videos show all of these stereo types for hip hop like having his muscles big and showing them this may be like the statement in the text "you must be strong and tough".
he also has girls and muscle cars surrounding him this may also link to the text because it says "you must have a lot of women and money"
The atmosphere of the video is in a large mansion with loads of girls and cars.

lasso:

a lasso can be used to do freehand drawings with your mouse.

it also can be changed into different formats e.g. you can cut out one main object in a picture and change on not have a background.
the other format magnetic lasso tool can be used to curve corners.it's useful for copy and pasting.

connotation: the picture has a white background with thick black bold writing and sex pistols in random font for each letter

                                 denotation: it looks like a rock band because it looks quite mad

connotation: its a mad cover for a record and has circus writing in the middle

                                   denotation:it looks like a drugged up hippy sight because it is bright and colourful.

connotation:it is a dark cover with three black people one of the people is a female and the two are male.

                                   denotation: they look like they are hidden into the background and you can ony see their faces.

connotation: it is a banana with a signature at the bottom right.

                                  denotation: looks like a random cartoon banana in the middle of a plain white piece of paper.

Today I used my iPhone throughout the day to see what the scores of the football matches and also went to crystal palace Sunderland and got autographs and photos with my iPhone 

On Saturday mourning I woke to my digital alarm clock at 9:00 because I went to play football with my friends

Today I played with my mates on xbox so that we could chat and play games together and later on I watched youtube and played apps on my iPad.
